Northern Ireland defender Conor McLaughlin has returned to League One side Fleetwood Town after he penned a short-term contract. Conor McLaughlin was a free agent when he was snapped up by Fleetwood Town. The right-back had become a free agent on the back of his release by Sunderland. He left the Black Cats in the summer at the end of his contractwith the club.
It was announced earlier this week that Conor McLaughlin has put pen to paper on a short-term deal until January 2022. Conor McLaughlin, who has 44 caps for Northern Ireland, makes his return to Fleetwood Town four years after leaving to join London club Millwall. McLaughlin was with the Cod Army for five years having joined them in 2012. He spent two years in London in the colours of Millwall before moving to Sunderland in 2019.
