English League One giants Sunderland are reportedly keen on signing Queens Park Rangers (QPR) defender Todd Kane this summer. This is according to the publication from London Football News which stated that Kane is on the way out of QPR in the English Championship and that the Black Cats want to sign him. He could be the replacement for Conor McLaughlin at the Stadium of Light.

Conor McLaughlin was one of several players released by Sunderland at the end of last season. Apart from Northern Ireland right-back Conor McLaughlin, out-of-favourLuke O’Nein is another right-back option at the club and he’s also set to leave this summer. Wolves loanee Dionne Sanderson is a third right-back option to exit the Black Cats this summer with the player scheduled to return to his parent club in the midlands after his loan spell in the Northeast.
